How We Approach Education
Our school’s philosophy perfectly captures the Meridian. Each Meridian line travels across the planet and connects the world together, uniting different cultures and ideas. This is our greatest desire: to combine the best of British and Czech culture; to incorporate the best virtues and qualities from nations across the globe.
At Meridian International School we offer an education that nurtures an interest in the outside world. At the same time, we strive to develop in our students a better understanding of our planet and how to work to improve it for a positive future together.
We are aiming high so that your children can aim even higher.
We Keep High Standards
In our school, we teach in accordance with the National Curriculum of England. A core aim is to uphold the high pedagogical standard that this demands. Infusing these principles within students who are from a wide range of different backgrounds and experiences, we hope to enrich our students with knowledge and the offer encouragement
We Develop Our Student Personalities
We are proud of our ambitious educational program, which not only provokes enthusiasm for students to study and overcome obstacles, but also teaches them to approach problems rationally and critically. All of this to ensure that they succeed in life as successful individuals and as the leaders of tomorrow. This is why we also support values such as fairness and equal opportunities, cultural and religious tolerance, as well as virtues such as respect, empathy, teamwork and, of course, honesty.
We Support and Motivate Children
At Meridian, we work hard to ensure that students and teachers, as well as other staff and the wider community around the school, are involved in our events, celebrations, and traditions. Our teachers work hard to create a warm atmosphere, engaging the students to contribute in a warm community-driven atmosphere. All our students are encouraged to do their very best at all times.
To put it simply, we strive to educate and develop resolute and resilient citizens of the world who are self-confident, committed and who are able to face the challenges of life and to contribute positively in a constantly changing world.
